This is a research photo sent to me by Penny Strain who helped me find pictures of orange roses for the wedding painting I've been commissioned to paint.
I think she will be best pleased with this arrangement and a blending of these colors for a more blush orange. I'm going to add a little more peach coloring to the orange so they aren't so brash.

Are these your paintings or pics that you intend to paint? I really like the sharp bright colors on all 3 of them, but especially this orange one. Way To Go, and I'll try to find those canvases sometime this week or weekend. We have a Hobby Lobby and a Michael's, but not the others you mentioned. (Or at least I haven't heard of them before.) I get paid on Friday and with any luck the refund will be here Friday as well. I work all week, and don't have another day off until Saturday. And to top it all off...I think I'm getting sick. YooHoo! Have you tried that new "Airborne" stuff? Take care. ~Z~
I finally got the rag out and put more identifiable information on the pictures. Now you can tell who's what. If they are my paintings drawing or crafts, I put my name on them. If they are research pictures then I'm putting the source.
I will be mixing these together and making my own composite for the wedding picture.
My brain is working on what is going to go on the blank canvas that is staring at me. I've narrowed it down to a combination of these three pictures in some form with my own twist.
I'll be starting it soon.
